Ten projects awarded in 5th JPIAMR Joint Call

The results of the 5th JPIAMR 2017 joint call for transnational research projects are presented. Within this funding opportunity over EUR 11.5 million have been awarded to ten projects. Four of the granted projects have a Dutch coordinator. The NADP congratulates Annelies Verbon, Ana Maria de Roda Husman, Jaap Wagenaar, Cees Hertogh and all participants of the awarded projects!

The 5th JPIAMR 2017 call targets research in the following topic: “Comparison of prevention, control and intervention strategies for AMR infections through multidisciplinary studies, including One Health approaches”. The call was launched in January 2017 by 16 research funding organisations from 15 countries, and attracted 53 research groups applying for nearly EUR 57 million in total. As a result 10 transnational consortia were granted funding for projects lasting a max. of 3 years.
